Hello, It's me. (Yeah me too, I'm obsessed with the new Adele song)

It was a horrible, horrible day in Ireland because of the weather. It was raining all day. For that reason, I didn't get to take a full length snap of my Outfit of the day or that many photos. It felt like a long day but it flew by, if that make sense. Anyway, I went to Dublin to meet up with a friend for lunch and to  stroll around and to do some "Window Shopping". I am proud of myself because I didn't buy anything apart from a lip liner from Primark. It cost me a Euro...

DIY ♥ Quick & Easy Room Decor Ideas

Tuesday, 9 June 2015

These 2  room decor ideas that I am going to show you is so simple and easy to recreate. It will only take you a minute! All you need is a bunch of fake flowers. You can purchase all the items used in this little DIY project in your local euro/pound/dollar store.

Floral holder

What you need:

♥ Fake flowers ( 2 euro from the Euro shop)
♥ Candle holder
This candle holder/stand was a birthday present  so, I don't know where my friend got it. I will, however, update this if I find out!

All you need to do is wrap your fake  flowers around the candle stand.
( you'll need this type of fake flower that is "viney")
and 1..2..3... TADA!
Now, you got yourself this super pretty floral holder .This will keep your room a bit organize, super cute and pretty.

This gorgeous floral  holder  is so easy to do!
You don't have to specifically place perfumes in it, most of the time I put a bunch of random things, like my sunglasses or bracelets. It keeps me organize.
This is perfect to place  in your bed side table.

What you need:

♥ Fake flowers (2 euro from the Euro shop in talbot street, dublin)

♥ Empty Jar (2 euro in  our local euro shop )
Just put your fake flowers ( you can use any type or design) inside the jar and baaaaam! You, now have a gorgeous side table decor . I absolutely adore this one because it makes my room so pretty. You can also put important stuff in it. You can keep your money, keys, pictures of Harry Styles... whatever floats your boat. haha.  It is a handy secret place in your room (IT'S OUR LITTLE SECRET).

I call this ,Jar of prettiness! So simple but  fun , and it will definitely change the vibe of your room, adding colour and a touch of chicness.

I think flowers are so beautiful and delicate. It makes everything ten times prettier. Notice how placing either fresh or fake flowers around your house  gives a better  atmosphere and vibe. It makes you feel happy and lively. It simply beautifies everything which is why I love them.

Anyway, there you have it! You can now have new room decors to change your room a bit, and in a super quick, easy and money saver way. There are a lot of other ways when using fake flowers as a room/house decor. Be creative and just experiment with it, DIY projects is a trial and error game, the reason why it's fun and exciting to do.

I haven't posted for quite awhile. I apologize. I was caught up with other things but now I am back and very excited to share more ideas that will be poppin' in my head. More DIY'S, OUTFIT IDEAS and whatnot. I love DIY's and I have few more ideas I would love to share with you so *happy dance*.
Comment down below  or tweet me a photo, if this post happen to interest you and decide to recreate one of these super fabulous DIY room decors. And if you have any more DIY ideas up in your blog, and you think I should try, just link your blog name and I will be sure to check it out too.

Books to read ♥ TFIOS, Girl Online, Twenties Girl&more...

Afternoon date with your
favourite book...

Heya guys!

So I am back and I just want to share some of the books that I've read and absolutely loved!
Like any songs, movies, TV shows the list go on we all have different taste in books. There will always be a book, that is well  pretty compelling and will definitely capture your interest!

It's like watching your  favourite TV show or movie but you're in charge on how you picture the characters, the settings and everything else! Sky is the limit! No director or producer will disappoint you with the choice of casting etc because you are in control.

I love to read novels! Romantic, funny, mysterious  or something that won't bore me reading the first chapter! I mean if you got me to read the first chapter why not keep going, right?
Danielle Steel was the first author that got me into novels because my  mom used to sent us gazillion books from Ireland, sadly all those books are in the Philippines right now( I might do another blog post of all her books that I've come across!)

I love to prepare myself some snacks when I  read.
So, I suggest you make some tea or any drink that you prefer and keep some snack beside you. Once you get in to the book that you're reading it is quite impossible to stop! Page after page not even aware what chapter you're in!

Girl Online
Zoe Sugg

LOVE!LOVE!LOVE this book!

Zoella is one of my favourite youtuber/blogger/person/I REALLY WISH SHE'S MY BESTFRIEND! TWEET ME? #NOCHILL
So of course when she released this book as her fan aka her SBFE (Super BestFriend Ever) I had to find a way to read it! One of my super amazing friend gave it to me as a Christmas present! Bestest present ever!

Girl Online is a story that perfectly tells the true struggle of every teenager! It covers a lot of issues that our generation is going through. Screw you society. It's funny, relateable, lots of life lesson and super cute and not boring at all!
Definitely give it a read and you won't regret it. For people who don't like those tiny texts when reading... well, this book if for you sister.

Twenties Girl
Sophie Kinsella

" When things go wrong in life, this is what you do...You lift your chin, put on a ravishing smile, mix yourself a little cocktail...and out you go"
(My favourite line from the book and since then I always keep this in mind.)

SHOPAHOLIC SERIES? Yes dude, she's the amazing person behind those books. It was even turned into a movie in which you've probably seen already "Confessions of a Shopaholic".
She's probably my favourite author at the moment. NO! She is my favourite author!

Twenties Girl is definitely my favourite book! I highly recommend this one! This is that one book that I could read multiple times and never get tired of doing so.
It will definitely crack you up! So funny! It is hilarious and won't bore you.
I love how every chapter gets interesting and it is not predictable at all. You think you know what was going to happen, but it just completely turn in something you won't even think of.

Twenties Girl have that amazing story that will make you appreciate your family, being young and just living life by making crazy decisions.  After reading this book it made me  wanna live life  more spontaneously!

Can you keep a secret?
Sophie Kinsella

Another book of Sophie Kinsella that I love! Again,  just like twenties girl it is  hilarious! You will cry from laughing.

Again, a must read and I definitely recommend!

 The Fault in our Stars
John Green

This book needs no recommendation! Everyone has probably read and seen the movie. I went to see the movie  not having any idea what was going to happen because I haven't read the book, surprisingly I didn't cry! But good lord when I finally read the book my eyes was swollen for days! I literally had to stop myself from reading  because I can no longer see the words from crying.

"Pain demands to be felt"
(okay GUS)

A house of night novel series
P.C. and Kristin Cast

I don't know whybut I just really  enjoy watching  TV shows and stories about vampires, werewolves and all supernaturals, fiction type. (I so know why... because the story plot are so damn good and it's  not because of the beautiful human beings that play the characters. I mean maybe just a little but definitely because of the good story.)

This series is basically about vampires and whatnot. When I took a year out  about 2 years ago, I borrowed these books off  from the library and finish the whole series. I was able to to get  3 out of 7 or 8 books from the charity shop. Really love the story that I had to buy it when I saw it in our local charity shop! It has  a compelling and great story. So, if you love this type of genre definitely read this one.

The single girl's to-do-list
Lindser Kelk

This book is very funny. It has a similar humor with the Twenties Girl and Can you keep a secret? Which is why I loved it.

I don't read all the time by the way, only if we ran out of data in our internet meaning "no wifi".But when I do...I really enjoy it unless of course if I have to read to study for exams. No thank you.

Anyway, it is summer time which means you pretty much have all the time in the world to procrastinate. Lazy afternoons, got nothing to do except refreshing and scrolling through all your social media apps all day long, casually wasting time .
What a time to be alive! jk.

Why don't you grab one of those lonely book in your bookshelves at home! I mean everyone have that one place in their house where books pile up that has been forgotten or just constantly being ignored. Pick one that will most likely keep you interested. Pick something that you know you will enjoy, better yet? Surprise yourself.

If you have a book you will gladly  recommend for me to read over the summer, that would be great! Also,I would love to know if you've read any of these books and maybe plan to!

Lots of Love,

HOW TO STYLE ♥ Winter loving layers outfit idea #2

First Layer

I am wearing the same top, shoes and jeans from my last  post if you want to see it just click this link right here >>> HOW TO STYLE ♥ Winter loving layers outfit idea #1

Second Layer: Burgundy New Look Coat

For my second layer I am just wearing this coat from New Look. This is actually my first proper winter coat ever since I moved here in Ireland. It took me awhile to decide what colour and style do I want to be stuck wearing over and over again during this cold season. Originally I wanted colour black or brown but I end up buying this one because I actually really love this  colour and how it gives me that skater dress look and not that boring straight cut type.

Third Layer: Not so famous Plaid Scarf

Last and Final Layer is ofcourse "not so popular" kidding I think everyone have them as their must haves for Winter because everyday walking up to College  you'll see people wearing them with different colour combo and style.

People love them because #1 Plaid/Checkered Prints are very on trend right now. They make your outfit stand out and very stylish. #2 This scarves are super warm.

The weather at the moment is starting to get less colder now. Spring time is coming and that means... oh yes we will finally get to wear our less bulky clothes and maybe more pastel lively colours like for one Mint Green. CAN'T WAIT.

I just wanna share this cute little inspirational photo I saw from my twitter timeline. I just really love it and well I hope this will change your perspective about life too.

Lots of Love,

HOW TO STYLE ♥ Winter loving layers outfit idea #1

First Layer: Pop-up Top

I decided to wear a colourful popping  top as my first layer for this outfit so when I put on extra layers of clothes it will still stand out.

I absolutely love this galaxy top because its colours aren't too bright that will make it all too summery. It is a bit more in the darker tones which is perfect for Winter.

When you see a BAE and your friends tell you to act normal. Yep.

Second Layer: Bershka Leather Jacket add-on

Leather Jacket. YES PLEASE. It is so warm and I purchase it from Bershka on sale. ON SALE. I got it for a great deal so I'm pretty happy about that.

Leather Jacket if you own one pretty much goes with everything. It adds to a more edgy look for this outfit which I love.

Sorry not sorry that my fave shoes looks like they're not themselves atm. I forgot to do that thing where you polish it once in awhile.

Third Layer: Final Layer -Green Topshop Coat

For the final layer I put on this gorgeous Coat from Topshop. I love the colour and how it gives that bright vibrant colour that compliments the colours that my galaxy top have.

I paired these  layers with my black ripped jeans together with my favourite pair of chunky boots from Penney/Primark.  I know it's freezing cold so what am I thinking exposing my knees right? I usually wear it either  with my black tights or leggings... Some people will probably think that its weird but no its not. Some people actually do wear tights or legging underneath their jeans. OK. I swear it's ok to do it. *wink *wink (not in a creepy way)

I accessorize this look by wearing these "layered" necklaces together with my choker and the heart-shaped necklace. I've been loving these necklaces at the moment because again it spices up my outfit.

I know its annoying me too looking at my heart-shaped necklace...like" dude are you lost? Get back on your lane! "

Layering is so much fun. Just want to put that out there.  I use to hate the idea of it. Layering gives you the opportunity to be a bit more creative with your style which is why I love it.  It is a struggle sometimes because you have got to choose the right pieces that will work and compliment each other but once you find that perfect layers that you can play around then girl  you are sorted for this freezing our butt season.

I know it's the end of January already but here in Ireland it's still freezing cold. Like so cold that you literally wish you could just stay in bed with your laptop or a book and a nice cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows of course...forget about the book and hot chocolate maybe just STAY IN BED AND SLEEP TILL YOU FINALLY REALISE THAT YOU'RE WASTING YOUR TIME SLEEPING IN BECAUSE THERE'S A WHOLE WORLD WAITING FOR YOU TO DO SOMETHING  WITH YOUR LIFE. #what

What I'm trying to say is because it's so cold it is giving us more reason to be lazy, having that excuse not to go out and live a life.  Moving here in Ireland 3 years ago I have no clue on what and how do people dress up for winter and prepare themselves for these torturous cold, freezing our butts and well pretty much every part of our body. Note that where I came from, Philippines is the complete opposite of Ireland. Weather for one. I used to live in this hot, humid country where we pretty much have the same weather all year round- HOT HOT HOT.

This outfit idea may look like it's not warm enough but it is. I swear. Next week though I have another  "Winter loving layers outfit idea" for you  that will probably look so warm  and cozy  that you might as well wear it 24/7 especially with this season.

Let me know what you think of this outfit and leave a comment below sharing your favourite piece that you have at the moment that you pretty much wear everyday. It can be a top, jeans, accessories or your favourite pair of shoes.

Lots of Love,

Camille ♥

Skincare ♥ Stay Simple

Wednesday, 21 January 2015

Hey guys!

So  today I decided to share to you some of my skin loving facial products that I've been using. The name is not that hard to remember because its simple, it's SIMPLE!  hahahaha! No that didn't work at all. #sorrynotsorry  These are the four Simple facial skin products I've been loving recently. Every Simple products doesn't contain any artificial perfume that will irritate your skin which is why it is perfect for people who have  sensitive skin , like me. Also all of these products have vitamins and skin loving ingredients leaving your skin hydrated and moisturised  which is why it is a must have! You can get them from your local pharmacy they even have it in Penneys (Primark)! They are very affordable too!

Simple products are by far proven and tested that they are perfect for sensitive skin, also I read it and you'll see it somewhere in their  products that they are "UKs no. 1"  facial & beauty brand and also in other EU countries including Ireland. Woah. Woah. They are telling the truth guys. I agree 100% to that. Their products has been absolutely gentle, kind, and loving to my skin. That description could pass for a perfect boyfriend to be honest. Right?!

Over the years  JK like a year ago, summer time maybe haha I started using  more make-up, by that I mean that I'm actually learning how to use concealer, bronzer all that things most girls by now know how to do. Also, I've been eating loads  of unhealthy foods (still do.. who doesn't?!) so my skin has gone from bad to worse. Spots was everywhere! My forehead especially, it was like they decided to throw a party in there but forgot to give me an invitation. RUDE.  I thought maybe I needed to try  more intense products with lots of weird ingredients,so science-cy names I can't even pronounce but none of them really worked for me. Sad face. Apart from one Neutrogena another facial cleansing product that was very good to my skin and one that I use every night to wash my face.

Recently, I decided to go back to the product that I first use and loved. I started using Simple again. After just a few days my skin has calm down and absolutely been loving the feeling every after wash together  applying with a simple moisturiser and toner cleanser. They go together like when a group of girls go together to public toilets. Fact...I was meant to send the Simple facial wash gel and moisturiser over to my sister to the Philippines but unfortunately the person who's bringing it with here didn't had enough space to her luggage that she had to leave it but YAY because it gave me the reason to use it and fall in love with it again. As you do.

#1 Simple Hydrating Moisturizer

I use this every after I use the facial wash gel in the morning. I love love using it before applying makeup too if ever I go out and socialize and see people. I know going outside... ugh. The effort. I'm thinking of getting the rich moisturiser when I finish this because it's the light one. Still works perfectly though.

#2 Simple Refreshing Facial Wash Gel

I use this every morning and it absolutely refreshes your face. My first step of getting rid my sleepy, stressful looking face in the morning. Coffee for our skin basically. I don't know if you've notice but FYI it says there that it's 100% soap free. If that doesn't make you love it even more... I can't even.

#3 Simple Pore Minimizing Toning Cleanser

I don't use this as much as I would use the facial wash and moisturiser. I sometime use this at night after using my Neutrogena facial wash. If my skin is feeling really dry and annoying me I'll use this one.

           #4 Simple Illuminating Radiance Cream

I lost its lid. RIP Lid.
I use this every night as my moisturiser. I love this because it's rich in vitamins and have 4 skin loving ingredients. For some reason I think it works brilliantly whenever I apply it at night rather than in the morning. I feel over the night while I'm asleep it works its magic that in the morning my skin feels so soft and loved. Note that when you use this in the morning it gives and leaves your skin with sparkly bits and if you don't like that then probably use at night instead. It kinda gives you an Edward Cullen bright shiny shimmer when the light strikes at you hence the name 'radiance'. I love it though so sometimes I do use this in the morning.

If I am completely honestly the reason and I know it too on why my skin has been awful  was 70% of it is because of my laziness. I always forget to wash my face. So guys the best skincare tip ever is to always, always make time to wash your face with whatever facial wash you're using. Especially if during the day you've been wearing makeup and if you're out where you'll most likely be expose to dust and other dirt clogging your skin  so as soon as you get home wash your face.

If you love Simple as much as I do then do express your love in the comment section below and let me know what other Simple products that I MUST try out that you've tried already  and that you feel strongly people should know about. We can even fangirl over Simple products. I have fangirling issues and I don't even care. If you follow me on twitter and instagram then you'll probably know about all the things I fangirl about. Like a freak. I will link down below my Twitter, Instagram and other social websies I'm in because I've no life. JK.
If you feel like your skin is getting a bit annoying with all these spots, drying out, blackheads plotting some kind of apocalypse maybe instead of trying out some pretty serious facial products try Simple first, STAY SIMPLE. After awhile and you feel like you need to try something else because it's not doing the job then maybe you should... Its your skin and you should take care of it the way you want to.

Lots of love,

Camille ♥
